Hello everyone,

We made this ancient Egyptian recipe Flatbread with toppings representing the modern pizza, but this was consumed 500 years ago.

It’s not inexpensive nor an easy recipe, you have to make everything from the Scratch, and it takes a minimum of 2 hours to prepare but, You can inspire anyone on your special day with this recipe for sure.

Directions

Step 1

In a instant pot, add olive oil, lamb, cardamom powder, white pepper powder, all spice powder, water, salt cook in medium heat for 40 minutes.

Step 2

Step 2 add following ingredients long grain rice, lamb stock, salt, bay leaves, butter, cardamom, rose water, cook in rice cooker for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3, in a blender add tomatoes, red chili deseeded, garlic, salt, onion, all spice powder, sumac, cardamom powder, black pepper, honey, lemon blend it until its smooth.

Step 4

Step 4, In a pot add Olive Oil, Bay leaves, Cinnamon stick, Cardamom,Onion diced Cook for 3 minutes in medium heat. After that add step 3 blended mixture and continues to cook for 4 minutes in medium heat.Add STEP 1 cooked lamb, Vinegar, Mint Leaves diced continues to cook for 2 minutes in medium heat.

Step 5

Step 5 in a pan add Water, Olive oil,Tomato paste,Chili paste,Vermicelli,Cream,Salt Cook for 2 minutes in medium heat.

Step 6

Step 6, In a large plate Flat bread as first layer.

Step 7

Add STEP 5 cooked vermicelli as second layer.

Step 8

Add STEP 2 cooked rice as third layer.

Step 9

Add STEP 4 gravy as fourth layer.

Step 10

Add STEP 1 Meat as fifth layer.

Step 11

Add Black & Green olives, chopped, Mint Leaves chopped, Fried onion for garnish.
